The .BOS file extension is most frequently associated with the Bonita Open Solution, a widely used open-source Business Process Management (BPM) suite. These files serve as compressed project archives containing process definitions, business data models (BDM), diagrams, and organizational data required to run a workflow in Bonita Studio.
While efficient for deployment, the .BOS format is often frustrating for users who do not have the specific version of the Bonita software installed.
