The .azz file is a proprietary database format created by AZZ Cardfile, a Windows-based personal information manager designed as a modern replacement for the legacy Microsoft MS Cardfile. It is primarily used to store contacts, phone numbers, recipes, and text snippets organized in a card-based interface. These files are typically opened and managed exclusively using the AZZ Cardfile software. Users frequently need to convert this file because the format is highly proprietary and severely limits accessibility. Files cannot be natively opened on macOS, Linux, iOS, or Android devices.
