About AT files

The .AT file format is primarily used by the Autotip mod for Minecraft to store in-game tipping statistics. Secondary uses include tournament settings files for the Arena Chess GUI, database files for Advanced Revelation, and car physics data files for the Assetto Corsa racing simulator. These files serve as internal storage containers for highly specific applications and are not meant for general consumer use.

Users frequently struggle with .AT files because they lack native support in modern operating systems and web browsers. Trying to open an Assetto Corsa physics file or an Advanced Revelation database file without the original software often results in an unreadable binary mess. The current format is heavily disadvantageous because it is proprietary, deeply tied to the original game engine, and offers zero interoperability with standard office or data analysis tools.

Converting a .AT file depends entirely on its internal structure. The Minecraft Autotip variant is formatted internally as JSON. This makes it possible to convert the file to JSON, TXT, or CSV to read the raw data. Conversely, the game physics and database variants are proprietary binary formats. Standard online converters fail to process them because they lack the highly specific parsing logic required by the respective game engines. Changing the extension will simply break the file.

Because this file format is difficult to open or convert, you usually need the original software to properly read or export the data. If our analysis detects a supported underlying text or JSON structure, viewing or conversion is instantly available.

Convert.Guru analyzes your AT file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted LCP, SKR and TSP files.

The AT Converter Story

The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our AT converter.
