The .AF3 file extension represents a vector-based flowchart or diagram created with Micrografx ABC FlowCharter 3, a popular business graphics tool from the 1990s. These files store intricate process maps, organizational charts, and data flow diagrams using proprietary vector paths and shapes.
The primary challenge with .AF3 files is their obsolescence; Micrografx was acquired by Corel in 2001, and the ABC FlowCharter product line evolved into the enterprise-focused iGrafx suite.
