Users typically encounter .YRCDAT files when exploring old hard drives, unearthing legacy backups, or dealing with outdated system archives. The main disadvantage of this format is its severe obsolescence and lack of support. It requires the original, now-discontinued YRC Weblink browser to execute its scripts.
