The .XMLFF file is an XML Flat File primarily associated with Control Split software workflows. It serves as a specialized data bridge, storing mapping parameters or raw data exports that translate hierarchical XML structures into tabular flat files for database integration.
These files are typically generated by enterprise data pipelines. While they are essentially plain text and can be viewed in code editors like Notepad++ or Visual Studio Code, specialized software is required to execute the actual data transformations they contain.
