To convert other file formats to the "Encrypted Password Vault" file type, you need software like Enpass or a similar tool.

About WALLETX files

The .walletx file is an encrypted vault database created by Enpass. It securely stores user passwords, credit card details, and secure notes. Managed exclusively by the Enpass application across desktop and mobile platforms, it acts as an offline, secure container for sensitive digital credentials. The primary disadvantage of this format is its extreme lock-in. Because the file is heavily encrypted using AES-256 and relies on a proprietary implementation, you cannot open it with standard database viewers, text editors, or web browsers. Without the master password and the original application, the file is entirely inaccessible. Users typically need to convert this data to CSV or JSON when migrating to alternative password managers like Bitwarden or 1Password. Because this is a closed, proprietary, and encrypted format, standard online converters fail to process it. Only the original software can properly read, decrypt, or export the vault data. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format, viewing or conversion may still be possible, but decryption will always require the original vault credentials.

Convert.Guru analyzes your WALLETX file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
