To convert other file formats to the "Browser Theme Package" file type, you need software like UC Browser or a similar tool.

About UCT files

.UCT files are custom theme packages used by UC Browser to change the visual appearance of the browser interface. These files dictate the layout, colors, icons, and background images of the software, which is developed by UCWeb.

This format has significant disadvantages. It is a proprietary, application-specific package. You cannot open a .UCT file directly in standard image viewers or text editors. The format is practically useless if you do not use UC Browser, creating a closed ecosystem for the design assets stored inside. Furthermore, modifying a theme requires understanding the specific internal directory structure expected by the browser.

To repurpose the assets, you need to extract the contents into standard formats like PNG, JPG, or XML. Because it is a closed format, standard online converters fail to process it. Often, only the original software can properly read or export the compiled theme data. Our platform can inspect the file, and if our analysis detects a supported underlying archive structure (like a standard ZIP wrapper), viewing the internal content or extracting the assets may still be possible.

Convert.Guru analyzes your UCT file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
