A .tmzip file is a Theme Manager Zip File used by Theme Manager, a legacy customization utility designed to alter the visual appearance of the Windows 7 desktop environment and login screen. These files bundle together background images, custom icons, and XML configuration settings. The primary disadvantage of the .tmzip format is that it uses a proprietary file extension meant only for an outdated piece of software. Standard online converters often fail to process it because they do not recognize the obscure extension. If you do not have the original Theme Manager installed, your operating system cannot open the file or access the high-quality wallpapers locked inside.
