To convert other file formats to the "Unity Asset Bundle" file type, you need software like Unity or a similar tool.
The .TK file extension is most frequently associated with Unity Asset Bundles, which use the proprietary UnityFS format. These files act as compressed containers to store 3D models, textures, animations, and audio for games built with the Unity engine. Alternatively, a .TK file can be a 3D model format used by WinTek, or a plain text script for the Tk GUI toolkit associated with the Tcl programming language.
Unity Asset Bundles are natively created and compiled by Unity, but they are not meant to be opened by end-users. You cannot open them directly in standard 3D editors like Blender without first unpacking the archive. Because they are highly compressed, binary containers, editing or extracting the contents requires specialized reverse-engineering tools like AssetStudio. Tk scripts, on the other hand, require the Tcl/Tk runtime to execute but can be read as plain text.
For Unity assets, the goal is extraction rather than direct conversion. Once unpacked, internal assets can be converted to standard formats like OBJ, FBX, PNG, or WAV. For Tk scripts, no conversion is typically needed, as they are readable in any standard text editor.
Extracting UnityFS archives is difficult because the compression algorithms (like LZ4 or LZMA) and internal file structures change frequently between Unity versions. Standard online converters fail to process these complex game bundles because they lack the specific unpacking logic.
