The main disadvantage of the .tda3mt format is that it is completely obsolete and heavily restricted. More importantly, it is not a real video file. It does not contain the actual movie data, just the menu structure. Users often mistake it for a playable video and get frustrated when modern media players like VLC refuse to open it.
