Extract text from Starter data files (SCGS)

The .SCGS file format is a proprietary myPM SCG Starter Data File created by Midori Media. It is used within the myPM Schedule Generator software to store initial project templates, timeline configurations, and structural project management data.
To view or edit the complex timeline data, you must use the official myPM SCG software. The primary disadvantage of the .SCGS format is its strictly proprietary nature. It is not supported by standard web browsers, general text editors, or mainstream project management tools like Microsoft Project. Users frequently struggle to share these files with clients or stakeholders who do not hold a paid myPM license, which severely restricts cross-team collaboration.
To make this data widely accessible, you should convert .SCGS to standard formats like CSV or XML for tabular data extraction, or PDF for visual sharing of Gantt charts. Be aware that converting to raw plain text will strip away the visual timeline formatting.
