About RPLIB files

The .RPLIB file is a proprietary widget library used exclusively by Axure RP. It stores reusable UI components like buttons, form fields, and navigation bars for wireframing and prototyping. Because this format is completely closed and locked to the Axure ecosystem, sharing these assets with developers or designers using Figma or Sketch is a massive headache. You cannot natively open a .RPLIB file without an expensive, active subscription to Axure RP. Standard online converters fail to process this file because the internal architecture is deliberately undocumented to prevent users from migrating away from the platform. Designers typically want to convert these files to SVG vectors, PNG rasters, or FIG files. Our analyzer will inspect the file data, reveal internal text strings, and attempt to extract embedded graphical assets if the underlying container supports it.

Convert.Guru analyzes your RPLIB file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

The RPLIB Converter Story

The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our RPLIB converter.
