A .QDZ file is a Quartus Device Support Package used by Intel Quartus Prime software. The primary disadvantage of the .QDZ format is its proprietary nature and massive file size, often reaching several gigabytes. It requires a heavy, specialized Electronic Design Automation (EDA) suite to utilize. You cannot open it in a web browser or standard text editor.
