About Q9Q files

A .Q9Q file is a proprietary preset settings file created and utilized exclusively by the SuperBladePro plugin developed by Flaming Pear Software. It is designed to store complex configuration values - such as bevel dimensions, glass refraction, texture properties, and lighting angles - that are applied to graphics within host applications like Adobe Photoshop. The primary disadvantage of the .Q9Q format is its rigid reliance on a highly specialized, closed software ecosystem. Because the file does not contain any actual rasterized image data (like a photograph or drawing), but rather just numerical parameters, you cannot view these files natively in web browsers or standard operating system image viewers. Furthermore, users are often frustrated because the files are essentially useless without purchasing and installing a premium plugin. Users frequently attempt to convert .Q9Q files into standard image formats like JPG or PNG just to preview what the preset looks like. Standard online converters fail to process these files because they expect visual pixel data, whereas .Q9Q only holds mathematical instructions. This file format is exceptionally difficult to open or convert because only the original software can properly read the proprietary data and render the 3D surface effect. Our advanced analysis can inspect the file and often show underlying text, configuration strings, or internal content. If our system detects a supported underlying structure, viewing or partial data extraction may still be possible even for closed formats.

Convert.Guru analyzes your Q9Q file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
