About Q3C files

The .Q3C file is a proprietary project format created by Quick 3D Cover, a niche software developed by Nervepreserve. It is primarily used to store the save state of 3D software box shots, CD/DVD cases, and eBook cover renders.

Users frequently encounter problems with .Q3C files because they are completely closed and proprietary. You cannot open them in standard image editors like Adobe Photoshop or 3D modeling tools like Blender. The format only stores instructions, lighting parameters, angle settings, and file paths pointing to the original 2D graphics used as textures.

Because of these extreme limitations, users need to convert these projects into standard raster formats like JPG, PNG, or BMP to share their 3D cover designs on the web or in print.

Standard online converters fail to process .Q3C files because the format is closed and lacks public documentation. Often only the original software can properly read or export the data. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format, viewing or conversion may still be possible.

Convert.Guru analyzes your Q3C file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
