A .PWV file is primarily a Power Quality Analysis Data log generated by Metrel analyzers and managed via Metrel PowerView software. The Problem: Proprietary XML Structure

While .PWV files are technically text-based XML, opening them in a standard text editor like Notepad++ reveals a chaotic stream of tags and raw values (e.g., <VoltageL1>230.5</VoltageL1>) rather than the visual charts or compliance reports you need. Without the specific Metrel PowerView software - which often requires a specific license or installation context - the data is practically unusable for third-party auditors or clients receiving the file.
