The .power file extension functions as a Goo Picture Library File [1], originally developed by DigiSoft Innovations for the Golden Orchard software package [3]. Historically, these files were opened natively using Golden Orchard [3], a platform popular during the era of early CD-ROM graphic archives.
The primary disadvantage of the .power format is that it is entirely obsolete and strictly proprietary [1]. Modern operating systems like Windows 10 or macOS do not support it natively [3].
