A .pai file is a Personality Assessment Inventory report. It stores psychological test results, patient evaluations, and clinical scoring data. These files are primarily generated and opened using clinical assessment software provided by Psychological Assessment Resources (PAR). The format is highly proprietary and locked to the PAR ecosystem. Users struggle with .pai files because they require an expensive, specialized clinical software subscription to open. The files cannot be viewed in standard web browsers or generic document readers.
