About P3I files

A .P3I file is a proprietary creative project created by Tech4Learning Pixie 3, an educational software widely used in K-12 schools for digital storytelling. These files are containers that hold a student's drawings, text, stickers, and voice recordings in a specific layout.

The Problem: Because .P3I files are strictly proprietary to the legacy Pixie 3 software, they cannot be opened by standard image viewers, web browsers, or parents trying to view their child's schoolwork at home. If you do not have Pixie 3 installed (which is now an older version, succeeded by Wixie), the file is essentially a "black box" of data that cannot be viewed or shared.

The Solution: To make these files usable, they must be converted into standard formats. For preserving the entire multi-page project with layout integrity, PDF is the best target. For sharing individual drawings or slides on social media, converting to JPG or PNG is ideal. While direct online converters for .P3I are rare due to the closed format, the most reliable method is using the original Pixie software or its cloud-based successor, Wixie, to open and export the content.

Convert.Guru analyzes your P3I file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
