About NVB files
The .NVB file extension is an NVivo Project Backup file used in qualitative data analysis. Researchers use NVivo, developed by Lumivero, to organize, analyze, and find insights in unstructured data like interviews, surveys, and social media. Users frequently face challenges with .NVB files because the format is strictly proprietary. It requires an expensive, paid software subscription to open and locks your valuable research data inside a closed ecosystem.
