About NDD files

The .ndd extension represents two very different types of legacy data, creating significant confusion for users.

1. NDrive Navigation Data Log (Most Common)
Most frequently (56%), this file is a navigation log generated by NDrive, a GPS software used on older smartphones and dedicated navigation units. These files contain route history, favorites, or map data locked in a proprietary format.

2. Nintendo 64DD Disk Image
For gamers, an .ndd file is a ROM dump from the Nintendo 64DD (Disk Drive), a failed peripheral for the N64 console.

3. NeuroLucida Data
Rarely, this may be a scientific data file from MBF Bioscience software, used for neuron reconstruction. These highly specialized files require the original software to view or export to XML.

Convert.Guru analyzes your NDD file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted INDD, NWB, NLV and NIA files.

The NDD Converter Story

The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our NDD converter.
