A .looklibrary file is a proprietary settings container used exclusively by Corel Painter to store saved visual effects, known as "Looks." These files bundle specific combinations of paper textures, lighting, and filter settings that digital artists apply to their paintings. You can manage and export these files using Corel Painter.
Users often attempt to convert .looklibrary files to share their custom settings with artists who use different software, such as Adobe Photoshop or Clip Studio Paint. However, the .looklibrary format has severe disadvantages. It is highly proprietary and fundamentally locked into the Corel ecosystem.
