The .KMM file extension represents a K-Meleon Macro Module. It is used exclusively by the K-Meleon web browser to automate user tasks, modify browser behavior, and add custom tools. Users typically encounter a .KMM file when trying to install a community-made plugin or migrate old browser settings. The main disadvantage of this format is its proprietary, legacy nature. The scripts are written in the highly specialized K-Meleon Macro Language, which is not supported by modern browsers like Google Chrome. If you do not have K-Meleon installed, standard operating systems will throw an error when you try to open it. Because the format is specialized, standard online converters fail to process it. However, the underlying data is plain text script code.
