About IXA files
An .IXA file typically serves as a settings file for Keyence IV-Series Vision Sensors. These industrial automation files store critical inspection parameters, including lighting, focus, and tool settings. Alternatively, older .IXA files act as Video CD track indexes created by VCDEasy disc authoring software, or as obsolete Ulead Disc Image files by Corel.
The .IXA format is strictly proprietary. You cannot open a Keyence settings file in a standard text editor or web browser. It requires the specialized, paid Keyence IV-Navigator software to view or modify. Similarly, VCDEasy and Ulead files rely on obsolete disc authoring tools that rarely run correctly on modern operating systems. Standard online converters fail to process these files because they lack the proprietary codecs to decode the specific binary structures.
There is no direct conversion to formats like PDF or CSV without the original software. Just drag and drop your .IXA file into convert.guru to identify the format, view it, and convert it when possible. Our system will inspect the internal hex data to determine whether you have a Keyence settings file, a VCD index, or a Ulead disk image. If our analysis detects an underlying text structure or embedded assets, viewing or partial data extraction may still be possible.
Convert.Guru analyzes your IXA file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
If you want to convert IXA file to ISO, IMG, DMG, VHD, VMDK, VDI, HDD, QCOW, QCOW2, RAW, VBOX or OVA, you can use Keyence IV-Navigator or similar software from the "Hardware Configuration & Disc Authoring" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….
To convert VFD, DMG, OVA, IMA, VBOX, ADF, PVS, VHD, OVF, ISO, DSK or IMG files to IXA, try Keyence IV-Navigator or another comparable tool in the "Hardware Configuration & Disc Authoring" category.
The IXA Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our IXA converter.
