About IB2 files
.ib2 files are proprietary game data files created by IncrediBots 2, a classic Flash-based physics puzzle game. They store custom-built challenges, robot designs, joint properties, and rigid-body physics parameters generated by players. To interact with these files, you must use the original IncrediBots 2 engine or compatible offline legacy players. The .ib2 format is highly specific and inherently disadvantaged for general use; it is heavily restricted, proprietary, and completely useless outside of its native game environment. Because it contains proprietary physics logic rather than media, converting an .ib2 file to standard text formats like TXT or XML will only yield raw unreadable code, stripping away all playable mechanics. It is impossible to convert these files directly into standard video formats like MP4 or images like PNG. This closed format is notoriously difficult to process because standard tools lack the custom physics engine required to interpret the data. Consequently, standard online converters will universally fail to process it.
Convert.Guru analyzes your IB2 file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

The IB2 Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our IB2 converter.
