About FPDX files
The .FPDX file is a proprietary sports video analysis project used primarily to store metadata, event tags, timelines, and references to external media. It is not a video file itself. These files are typically created and managed using Utilius Fairplay (often associated with ccc software gmbh), a specialized suite for sports coaching and performance tracking. Users often face strict limitations with this format because it is entirely proprietary and requires a paid, specialized software license to open. Furthermore, sharing an .FPDX file is useless if the recipient does not also have the externally linked video files. To share analysis with athletes or stakeholders, you must export the data to standard target formats. Exporting timeline tags to CSV or XML allows the data to be read in spreadsheet software, while rendering the final clips to MP4 ensures universal video playback on any device. Converting this file type is extremely difficult for standard online tools because the file only contains project instructions, not the video payload. The original software engine is usually required to parse the timeline references properly. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded text format, viewing the raw event tags or extracting XML data may still be possible.
Convert.Guru analyzes your FPDX file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
