Extract text from Easiteach Next Generation documents (ETNG)

An .etng file is an interactive lesson or presentation document created by RM Easiteach Next Generation, a specialized educational whiteboard software. These files typically contain a mix of text, images, embedded videos, animations, and interactive activities designed for classroom instruction.
To properly open and edit an .etng file, you need the original RM Easiteach software. This format presents major disadvantages for sharing. It is highly proprietary, meaning standard web browsers, mobile devices, and popular office suites like Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides cannot read it. Sharing these files with students or parents at home often leads to frustration because the file requires a specific, often paid, software license to open.
The best workaround is to convert the content into standard formats. Converting to a PDF is ideal for reading and printing, while PPTX is better if you need to retain some layout editing capabilities.
