About DIME files
The .DIME file is primarily a digital photo book project created by the discontinued MyPublisher BookMaker software. Historically, users relied on this software to design physical photo albums. However, since MyPublisher was acquired and shut down, the software is obsolete. This presents a major disadvantage: the .DIME format is proprietary, closed, and cannot be opened natively on modern operating systems. Users are often left stranded with inaccessible memories and error messages. Because this is a discontinued format, standard online converters completely fail to process it. Fortunately, the .DIME file uses a standard .ZIP archive as its underlying internal structure. By analyzing the file, you can often extract the embedded .JPG or .PNG images, even though the proprietary page layout data is permanently lost. Just drag and drop your .DIME file into convert.guru to see what it is and convert it if supported. Our system will identify the hidden archive structure, inspect the internal contents, and allow you to extract the raw photos trapped inside.
Convert.Guru analyzes your DIME file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
If you want to convert DIME file to CSV, JSON, XML, YAML, YML, TOML, INI, CFG, CONF, DAT, DB or SQL, you can use MyPublisher BookMaker or similar software from the "Digital Photo Book Project" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….

The DIME Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our DIME converter.
