Extract text from Lighting personality files (D4)

The .d4 file extension designates a Lighting Fixture Personality File primarily utilized by the Avolites Titan lighting console system. Under the hood, these files are constructed using standard XML architecture. They contain the critical mapping data required to translate generic lighting commands (such as pan, tilt, or color selection) into specific DMX channel values that a physical stage light understands. Without the correct .d4 profile, an Avolites console cannot properly control a custom or newly manufactured lighting fixture. Users typically create and manage these via the dedicated Avolites Personality Builder.
The main disadvantage of the .d4 format is its strict association with the Avolites ecosystem. Although the internal structure is standard XML, the specialized .d4 extension prevents desktop operating systems and standard text editors from recognizing or opening the file by default.
