Extract text from CloudChan documents (CPHD)

The .CPHD file format is a CloudChan Pre-processed Hypertext Document. These files function as server-side web templates originally designed for the CloudChan pre-processor engine. They contain a mix of standard HTML markup and proprietary scripts written in a syntax resembling Java.
Historically, developers used plain text editors like Notepad++ or Sublime Text to write the code. The server would then execute the internal tags to generate a dynamic web page for the end user.
Today, users need to convert these files because the format is entirely obsolete. The CloudChan server engine is effectively a dead platform. Real-world limits are severe: you cannot open a .CPHD file directly in a web browser, and you cannot host it on modern web servers like Apache or Nginx without causing raw code leaks. Users are left with stranded source code locked inside a dead ecosystem.
The most pragmatic solution is to convert .CPHD files to standard web formats like HTML, XML, or TXT. By targeting these formats, you can successfully salvage the static markup and text content. However, be aware that all dynamic server-side logic will be permanently lost during the conversion, and the backend scripts must be manually rewritten in modern languages like PHP or Node.js.
Because the original CloudChan environment is no longer available, this file format is exceptionally difficult to execute or migrate automatically. Standard online converters fail because they do not recognize the proprietary scripting syntax. Often, only the original, obsolete software could properly parse and export the compiled data.
