About CLKT files
.CLKT is a Clicker Grid Set Template used by Crick Software to provide reading and writing support tools for primary education. These files act as blueprints to generate specific literacy exercises in Clicker. The major disadvantage of the .CLKT format is its proprietary lockdown. You cannot open these files in standard word processors or web browsers, and acquiring the native software requires expensive school licensing. This makes sharing templates with parents or external tutors practically impossible. To share the visual layout of a grid, you need to convert .CLKT to PDF, or to TXT to extract the vocabulary lists. Note that any conversion will permanently strip away the interactive text-to-speech and dynamic grid features. Because this is a closed, proprietary format, standard online converters fail to process it. Only the original software can properly read or export the structured data. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format, viewing or conversion may still be possible.
Convert.Guru analyzes your CLKT file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
If you want to convert CLKT file to TMP, TEMP, CACHE, LOG, BAK, OLD, NEW, PART, DOWNLOAD, CRDOWNLOAD, LOCK or PID, you can use Clicker or similar software from the "Educational Activity Template" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….
To convert DEVICE, CACHE, SOCK, SYMLINK, PID, MOUNT, FIFO, LOG, PIPE, TMP, JUNCTION or TEMP files to CLKT, try Clicker or another comparable tool in the "Educational Activity Template" category.
The CLKT Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our CLKT converter.
