About BIDULE files

A .bidule file is a proprietary Bidule Layout File used by Plogue Bidule, a cross-platform modular audio and MIDI software environment. This file saves the complete routing topology of DSP modules, VST/AU plugins, and hardware I/O connections. Users often need to convert or share these files but face severe limitations. The .bidule format is a closed, proprietary project file. It does not contain actual audio data. It only stores the map of how audio and MIDI signals flow. If you send this file to someone who does not have the exact same third-party plugins installed, the layout will break and fail to load properly. Because it is a complex configuration state, standard online converters fail to process it into usable audio. You cannot directly convert a .bidule file to standard DAW project files like ALS or RPP. To get audio, you must open the layout inside Plogue Bidule and render the output to standard formats like WAV, FLAC, or MP3. This file format is exceptionally difficult to open or convert without the native software. Our analysis tools can inspect the file to extract internal metadata, such as the names of the required plugins, helping you rebuild the project.

Convert.Guru analyzes your BIDULE file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
