Internally, this file is a standard ZIP archive that bundles textures, 3D meshes, shaders, and JavaScript logic into a single deployment package.
The main disadvantage of the .arexport format is its strict ecosystem lock-in. It is proprietary and explicitly designed only for Meta platforms.
