The .AIOB file is an Android data backup archive generated by the All-In-One Toolbox app, an Android system utility. It primarily stores user settings, application configurations, and historical optimization data on the mobile device.
Because it is a proprietary backup format tied specifically to a single Android app, it lacks universal compatibility. Users face severe limitations because they cannot natively open a .AIOB file on a PC or a web browser. Relying on an app-specific backup means if the app is discontinued, removed from the Google Play Store, or if you switch to an iOS device, the data becomes trapped and completely inaccessible. Furthermore, migrating these settings to a different Android optimization app is impossible without a technical workaround.
The internal structure of 98% of .AIOB files is standard XML (eXtensible Markup Language). The best conversion targets are XML or TXT, which allows users to read the raw text data on any operating system. Extracting the data to CSV might also be possible if the XML structure contains tabular data. Formatting and app-specific restore capabilities will be lost, but the raw configuration data is preserved.
This file format is difficult to open or convert because standard converters do not recognize the obscure .AIOB extension. Often, only the original software can properly read or export the structured settings for device restoration.
