Extract text from eManager auto-update files (XEV)

The .XEV file format functions as an eManager Auto-Update File created by X-Genics. These files act as proprietary data containers used to deliver software patches, system modifications, and feature updates directly to the host application. You will typically only encounter a .XEV file if a download is interrupted or if you are manually transferring update files between computers.
The main disadvantage of the .XEV format is its strictly closed, proprietary nature. It requires the specific X-Genics eManager environment to run. The data inside is entirely meant for machine reading, meaning standard text editors or document viewers cannot open it. Because it is an update package rather than a standard media or document file, typical online converters fail to process it.
