The .wtx extension is primarily associated with WinMaus AVA, a specialized construction project management tool used for tendering, awarding, and billing (AVA). These files contain structured project data, cost estimates, and specifications, acting as a proprietary container that creates significant lock-in; without the original WinMaus software, stakeholders often cannot view or edit the critical construction data inside.
