About WORK files

The .WORK file format is a proprietary Bibble Work Queue File created by Bibble Pro, a discontinued digital camera RAW image processing software developed by Bibble Labs. These files store a list of image processing tasks, recording the batch queue of photos waiting to be rendered along with their associated non-destructive adjustment parameters.

Because Corel acquired Bibble Labs in 2012 and rebranded the software as Corel AfterShot Pro, the .WORK format is now practically obsolete. The core disadvantage of this format is that it is a closed, proprietary settings file. It does not contain actual image data like pixels or vectors, but merely text-based references to local file directories and rendering instructions. Consequently, users cannot open a .WORK file directly in modern web browsers, nor can they view it using standard image viewers.

Converting a .WORK file directly to an image format like JPG or PNG is impossible because the file lacks visual media. The most practical conversion targets are plain text formats like TXT, CSV, or XML. Converting to a structured text format allows users to recover the original file paths and the list of batch edits applied to the RAW images.

This file format is exceptionally difficult to open or convert correctly because only the original, legacy Bibble Pro software can natively interpret the queue logic and execute the batch rendering. Standard online converters fail to process it because they mistakenly attempt to treat it as an image file.

Convert.Guru analyzes your WORK file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
