About VSE files
A .VSE file is a proprietary video format generated by AVTECH CCTV DVR (Digital Video Recorder) and NVR (Network Video Recorder) systems. These files store raw surveillance footage. The primary disadvantage of the .VSE format is its strict proprietary nature. It is not supported by web browsers, and you cannot open it natively in standard media players like VLC media player, Windows Media Player, or QuickTime. Users are forced to rely on AVTECH's official playback software, which causes significant bottlenecks when sharing crucial security footage with law enforcement, insurance adjusters, or lawyers. To make the video usable, you must convert it. For universal playback, web use, and sharing, convert .VSE to MP4. For archiving without losing the original raw bitstream data, convert to MKV or AVI. Just drag and drop your file here to convert it.
