Extract text from TeveoLive video clips (TVO)
To convert TVO video clips to another format, you need TeveoLive or other Video software.

The .TVO file is a proprietary live video clip format originally created by the TeveoLive streaming software. Developed in the late 1990s, it was primarily used to capture and save early internet webcam broadcasts.
At the time, users relied on the official TeveoLive desktop client or early versions of Windows Media Player equipped with specific legacy codecs to open these files.
Today, the TeveoLive platform is entirely discontinued, leaving .TVO files as obsolete orphan data. The format relies on outdated compression algorithms that modern media players, such as VLC media player, cannot decode natively. Because it is a closed, proprietary format, reading or editing the raw video data on modern operating systems is extremely difficult.
To preserve this legacy footage, users must convert it. MP4 (H.264) is the best target format for universal playback. Alternatively, AVI or MOV can be used if you intend to import the footage into legacy video editing software. Note that because the original webcam hardware captured at very low resolutions, converting the file to modern HD targets will not improve the inherent visual quality.
