.TLO files are highly specialized formats primarily functioning as EST translation data files for CNH Industrial diagnostic tools or as TimeLapse Overlay files associated with TachyonBeam. A smaller fraction consists of SPSS TableLooks Files used by IBM SPSS Statistics to store custom table formatting.
Users often try to convert these files to access locked diagnostic data, video overlay settings, or statistical layouts. The main disadvantage of the .TLO format is its proprietary nature. CNH Industrial diagnostic files require costly, licensed Electronic Service Tool (EST) software to open and are useless to unauthorized mechanics.
