The .SPARKLE file format is a proprietary project file created by Sparkle, a visual website builder for macOS. It stores website layout data, text content, styling configurations, and embedded images. You can open and edit these files exclusively using the Sparkle application developed by River SRL.
This format is highly restrictive. It is a closed file type that only works on macOS. You cannot open a .SPARKLE file in a web browser, and you cannot edit it natively on Windows or Linux. It relies heavily on the specific macOS application environment, meaning users without a Mac or a paid Sparkle license are completely locked out of the project data.
