To convert SFERA panoramas to another format, you need Photo 360° by Sfera or other Raster Image software.
To convert other file formats to the "360° Panorama Container" file type, you need software like Photo 360° by Sfera or a similar tool.
A .SFERA file is a specialized media container that stores a 360-degree panoramic photograph alongside a recorded audio sequence. Originally designed for interactive virtual tours and 3D object viewing, these files were created exclusively by the Photo 360° by Sfera app developed by AMA LTD. Users typically captured sweeping panoramas or interactive turn-around views of objects using their mobile devices.
Historically, to view a .SFERA file, you needed the native Android app or the companion Windows desktop program, Sfera Viewer. Unfortunately, both the app and the desktop software have been officially discontinued, making it nearly impossible to access these files today.
You need to convert .SFERA files because they are trapped in a dead, proprietary format. This format is entirely closed and not supported by modern web browsers, standard image viewers, or social media platforms. You cannot simply share a .SFERA file natively anymore without first extracting the media.
The most practical workaround is converting the file to standard targets like JPG or PNG for the visual data, and MP3 for the audio. If you used the app's object-scanning feature, you might attempt to extract the image sequence to rebuild a 3D model in formats like OBJ or FBX using external photogrammetry tools. Be aware that converting the file will permanently flatten the interactive 360-degree playback into a static 2D panorama.
Because it relies on a highly obscure, undocumented wrapper, the .SFERA format is notoriously difficult to process. Standard online converters completely fail to parse the container because only the original software knew how to render the interactive layout.
