About RZB files
The .RZB file extension stands for Red Zion Book File. It is a proprietary digital book format developed by Red Zion for their Slovenian e-reading application, Red Zion E-book (also known as Red Zion E-knjiga). These files store the text and structural formatting of an eBook.
The .RZB format is practically obsolete and highly localized. It was meant to be read exclusively with Red Zion software, making it extremely frustrating to open on modern devices like Kindles, iPads, or standard web browsers. Additionally, some .RZB files are encrypted with a DRM key (stored in a separate RZK file), aggressively preventing users from copying or sharing the content they own.
To read these files on modern e-readers or tablets, you need to convert them to universal formats like EPUB or PDF. If the file is unencrypted, the text can often be extracted as a standard TXT file.
Because the format is closed and proprietary, standard online converters often fail to process it. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format, viewing or conversion may still be possible.
Convert.Guru analyzes your RZB file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

The RZB Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our RZB converter.
