About PDADJ files

The .PDADJ file is a proprietary PhotoDirector Preset File used to save image adjustment settings. Photographers use these files to apply consistent edits - such as color grading, exposure corrections, and tone curves - across batches of images. Currently, the only program that natively opens .PDADJ files is CyberLink PhotoDirector. The main disadvantage of the .PDADJ format is strict vendor lock-in. It is a closed, proprietary file type. If you switch to another photo editor, your preset libraries become entirely useless. Photographers often need to convert these files because they are migrating to an industry standard like Adobe Lightroom or Capture One. Ideal target formats for conversion are XMP or LRTEMPLATE, which are standard in the Adobe ecosystem, or basic TXT and XML to read the parameter values. However, direct visual conversion is rarely 1:1 because every software engine calculates image adjustments differently. Standard online converters fail to process .PDADJ files because it is a closed format. Often, only the original software can properly read or export the adjustment data. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format, viewing or conversion may still be possible.

Convert.Guru analyzes your PDADJ file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
