About PC6 files

The .PC6 file extension represents a PowerCADD 6 Drawing File created by PowerCADD, a legacy 2D CAD drafting software designed specifically for Macintosh computers by Engineered Software. These files store complex 2D vector graphics, architectural blueprints, symbols, and drafting layouts. Users must convert .PC6 files because they are locked into an outdated, proprietary format that creates severe accessibility issues today. Because modern macOS operating systems dropped support for 32-bit applications, older PowerCADD software versions cannot run natively on new Macs. Furthermore, you cannot open a .PC6 file in standard industry CAD programs like AutoCAD or Vectorworks without first exporting the data.
