An .MVM file is a proprietary project file created by MAGIX Photostory Deluxe. Users create these files to assemble digital photos, videos, and music into a sequenced slideshow with transitions and visual effects.
The main disadvantage of the .MVM format is that it does not contain the actual image or audio files. It is an instruction set that references the absolute file paths of the media stored on your local hard drive. This means you cannot send an .MVM file to another person or upload it to a video sharing platform.
