About MP10 files

The .mp10 file is an electronic circuit design project created with NI Multisim version 10. It stores schematic captures, component libraries, wiring layouts, and SPICE simulation parameters.

These files are exclusively managed by NI Multisim. The format is highly proprietary and uses a closed binary structure.

This format locks your schematic data into the NI ecosystem. You need an expensive, heavy software installation to view or simulate the circuits. It is not supported by web browsers, standard vector viewers, or alternative EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tools.

Users typically need to convert .mp10 files to PDF for sharing schematics, .GERBER for physical PCB manufacturing, or standard image formats like PNG for documentation. However, migrating the raw simulation data to other SPICE-based simulators is extremely difficult due to proprietary component models.

Because this is a closed, proprietary format, standard online converters fail to process it. Often, only the original software can properly read or export the simulation data. If our analysis detects a supported underlying structure or embedded preview images, viewing or partial conversion may still be possible.

Convert.Guru analyzes your MP10 file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted MP4, PDF and MP3 files.

FAQ

If you want to convert MP10 file to DWG, DXF, DGN, RVT, RFA, SKP, 3DM, STEP, IGES, SAT, X_T or X_B, you can use NI Multisim or similar software from the "Circuit Design and Simulation" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….

To convert SLDASM, DGN, PRT, IAM, X_B, CATPRODUCT, SLDPRT, RVT, ASM, DWG, CATPART or DXF files to MP10, try NI Multisim or another comparable tool in the "Circuit Design and Simulation" category.

The MP10 Converter Story

The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our MP10 converter.
