About MMIP files
The .MMIP file is a MediaMonkey Installation Package created by Ventis Media. Users rely on these files to add new features, skins, and scripts to the MediaMonkey media player. By default, double-clicking the file triggers an automated installation routine within the software.
This format is strictly proprietary to the MediaMonkey ecosystem. The main disadvantage is that the package is completely useless on its own. Standard online converters fail to process .MMIP files because they mistake them for audio tracks or video files based on the software's name. You cannot convert this file into a media format.
Under the hood, a .MMIP file is simply a standard ZIP archive with a changed extension. Because this file format is difficult to open or convert without the host application, extracting the data requires a workaround. The best target format is ZIP. You can rename the file or extract it using tools like 7-Zip. Inside, you will typically find VBS or JS scripts and INI configuration files. Our platform will inspect the internal structure of the .MMIP, identify the embedded ZIP format, and help you view or extract the underlying contents without needing the original media player.
Convert.Guru analyzes your MMIP file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
