About KFL files
A .kfl file is an Outlook Known Feed List used to store and manage RSS feed subscriptions. Users typically encounter this file when backing up or synchronizing news feeds and blog subscriptions within Microsoft Outlook. The primary disadvantage of the .kfl format is its proprietary nature. It is heavily tied to the Microsoft ecosystem and lacks native support from web browsers or third-party RSS aggregators. Users need to convert this file because standard RSS platforms require standard formats, making data migration difficult and leading to vendor lock-in. The best conversion targets for .kfl files are OPML or XML, which are the universal industry standards for sharing RSS subscription lists. Extracting the data to TXT is also recommended if you only need the raw feed URLs. This file format is difficult to open or convert because its internal structure is closed and designed exclusively for Outlook sync processes. Standard online converters fail to process it. Often, only the original software can properly read or export the data. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format, viewing or conversion may still be possible.
Convert.Guru analyzes your KFL file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
